Gerent is on the lookout for an Industry Solutions Leader* in Healthcare & Life Sciences who can help our fast-expanding Healthcare & Life Sciences team empower enterprise clients through a digital transformation leveraging Salesforce. Solution Areas are what we want to be known for in the market; they are the areas on which our clients most frequently seek our guidance during their digital transformation journey. Within our Solution Areas, we have core Offerings, which are the solutions we deliver to our clients. By specializing in and formalizing these select Offerings, we can deepen our relationships with our clients across their entire business and compete in new areas, helping us to grow our market share.

As a Senior Director, Industry Solutions, you will be responsible for the overall strategy, performance and growth of the Healthcare & Life Sciences Offering for Gerent. You will report to the SVP of Healthcare & Life Sciences, and work with the Senior Leadership Team for Healthcare & Life Sciences. You will partner closely with the Area Offering Leaders for Salesforce Healthcare & Life Sciences, and the Area Leads to implement offering strategy, drive sales and delivery, identify investment opportunities, grow talent, and be ultimately responsible for achieving the results for Salesforce Healthcare & Life Sciences. In the role, you will also focus on driving the offering every day; serving as the “face” of the offering internally and externally for Gerent, manage offering related capability and capacity, and own national relationships with offering alliance partners and Salesforce. You will lead the transformation of Salesforce Healthcare & Life Sciences for Industry Clouds, developing Industry Business Solutions with Salesforce, that address specific client business problems for Healthcare & Life Sciences Industry, and align with Salesforce Industry Clouds.

In this role, you will manage full-spectrum, cross-offering, and cross Solution Area solutions sales and delivery for clients. You will partner with Gerent Delivery Services on resourcing and skill needs to maintain effective business operations and project outcomes, to prepare our organization for market changes.

What you’ll do: 

  • Work closely with the Area Offering Leaders for Gerent Healthcare & Life Sciences to develop, communicate and execute the strategy for the Salesforce Healthcare & Life Sciences offering
  • Deal estimation,  pursuit, review and approval
  • Effectively position offering and cross-Solution Area offerings within the sales channels
  • Develop strong, effective relationships with Gerent Salesforce Healthcare & Life Sciences
  • Provide leadership for the Salesforce Healthcare & Life Sciences team within the Center of Excellence (CoE) on offering and asset development

What we’re looking for:

You revel in success, with a leadership track record in developing and growing long term, high value client relationships. You’re adept at communications, especially with influencing and negotiation capabilities that help you establish and grow solutions with key clients. Internally, you enjoy leading the development, production, and promotion of industry aligned solution offerings that leverage the power of Data to solve our clients industry business problems, in addition to a core fundamental expertise in defining strategy, designing, developing, implementing, managing, modernizing and migrating, and data platforms, for Enterprise clients. You are a subject matter expert in Salesforce Healthcare & Life Sciences and recognized within Gerent, Salesforce, and externally


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and/or Information Technology (or equivalent experience) preferred.
  • Salesforce certifications: Admin, Health Cloud Accreditation preferred


  • 12+ years of enterprise consulting and implementation experience
  • 5+ years of CRM consulting experience
  • Personal experience and expertise in developing, selling and delivering industry focused solutions in general, and preferably, strong affinity for at least one core industry
  • Personal experience in developing Enterprise Data Strategies for client, implementing the strategy, and ultimately helping client realize the value that was committed
  • Experience with sales principles and practices, including business development, marketing, and complex channel management
  • Experience delivering solutions for client organizations through complex solutions / projects with heavy client interaction
  • Strong consulting / project-based background, including assessing and managing the opportunity and risk associated with large scale, complex projects.

Technical competencies:

  • Deep applicable technical understanding of Healthcare & Life Sciences, ideally, specializing in the Salesforce platform.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce Health Cloud Architecture, Data Engineering, Data Integration and Data Management (including data governance/security and data quality).

  • People leadership — Must have demonstrated leadership skills in developing and growing long term, high value client relationships
  • Teamwork Ability to effectively team with peers in a large, matrixed organizations, including significant experience with off-shore teams and delivery
  • Client focus — Must apply a client-centric mindset and ensure that all projects keep clients’ stated needs and goals top of mind.  
  • Accountability — Must be willing to take ownership of and responsibility for clients success
  • Communication and presentation skills — Must present complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences. 
  • Innovation, creativity, and problem-solving —  Should be willing to think outside the box when confronting project challenges, building out practice assets and defining methods to train delivery resources. 
  • Strategy - Must be able to lay out a strategy or roadmap for clients onboarding or amidst a digital transformation anchored in Healthcare & Life Sciences use cases
