Job Summary:
Gerent is searching for a Nonprofit Industry Product Lead who can help our Nonprofit leadership team accelerate our growth strategy. The ideal candidate will also help us develop our Product knowledge. This role is responsible for technical industry leadership throughout Gerent’s customer lifecycle, including pre-sales activities, solution architecture creation and validation, solution reusability assessment and build, as well as, product management for Gerent’s industry product portfolio. The role requires deep architecture knowledge and the ability to create standards, best practices, delivery enablement, and leadership within a global environment. You will collaborate with Area Leads to implement strategic GTM offerings, drive sales and delivery, identify investment opportunities, grow talent, and be ultimately responsible for achieving the results for Gerent’s Nonprofit practice.
What you’ll do:
Provide business solution advisory and validation, and solution implementation leadership.
Support Sales and Sales Engineering team during pre-sales for initial discovery, proposal, LOE development and presentations.
Work with multiple stakeholders (e.g. - industry leadership, sales leadership, delivery leadership, clients, and success teams).
Prepare and deliver thought leadership assets like white papers, blog posts, podcasts, etc. that elevate Gerent’s technical expertise aligned to the Nonprofit industry.
Leverage a deep product knowledge and architectural best practices to drive sales and delivery excellence (quality principles, best in class technology and tools, productivity, analytics).
Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and coaching regarding the implementation and maintenance of Salesforce’s Cloud solutions based on best practices
Provide architectural oversight as needed for development on the Nonprofit Cloud, and supporting clouds to enable delivery best practices
Oversee internal training process to train new developers, PMs, BAs and SAs
Participate in Gerent COEs in collaboration with the Delivery Excellence Lead
Stay current with Nonprofit and supporting clouds and releases along with new features & functionality
What we’re looking for:
Education
University degree or college diploma in Business Administration, Technology, Computer Science or Engineering (or equivalent experience) preferred.
Salesforce certifications: including Advanced Administrator, Nonprofit Cloud Consultant, Marketing Cloud, Experience Cloud, Data Architect
Experience
4+ years of nonprofit implementations
8+ years’ experience in a hands-on technical position in a consulting organization
Proven experience integrating with 3rd Party systems – event management, finance
Advanced knowledge of the nonprofit industry and solutions
Experience in cognitive design, information architecture and user-centered design a plus
Experience with large scale technology projects
Experience collaborating with business stakeholders, business process owners, technical project managers and technical teams to execute solution architecture
Technical competencies:
Practical experience in one or more CRM software products (e.g., Salesforce, Siebel, Oracle, Clarify, Vantive, PeopleSoft, NetSuite, etc.)
Familiarity with Waterfall and/or Agile methodologies
Strong technical skills with a proven track record of delivering key technical initiatives and implementing web technologies (client- and service-side)
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Suite and other project management and time tracking tools (e.g. – JIRA, Smartsheet, Lucidchart, Slack, etc.)
Soft skills:
People leadership — Must have demonstrated leadership skills in developing and growing junior consultants
Teamwork — Ability to effectively team with peers in a large, matrixed organizations, including significant experience with off-shore teams and delivery.
Client focus — Must apply a client-centric mindset and ensure that all projects keep clients’ stated needs and goals top of mind.
Accountability — Must be willing to take ownership of and responsibility for their customers project success.
Communication and Organizational skills — Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
Innovation, creativity, and problem-solving — Should be willing to think outside the box when confronting project challenges, building out practice assets and defining methods to train delivery resources. Strong (and creative!) problem-solving and analytical skills
Strategy - Must be able to lay out a strategy or roadmap for clients onboarding or amidst a digital transformation anchored in Manufacturing and Distribution use cases
