Senior UI/UX Developer

What is the Role?

UI/UX developers will join the Delivery team at Gerent who shares our vision of bringing the power of cloud computing to enterprises that are designed for usability. UI/UX are experienced professionals on our project teams accountable for developing intuitive user interfaces that adhere to design requirements, understanding the overall solution design and user scenarios, and identifying technical constraints in achieving a desired state. They work closely with various technical and non-technical team members, across complex, enterprise and strategic projects. In addition they may work with product managers, UI/UX designers, engineers and customers, as well as with our leadership team, using iterative and test-driven design methods to develop comprehensive designs.

They are experienced in Salesforce products and can articulate what can be achieved out of the box configurations. They are keenly interested in understanding our customers' business, have a deep curiosity and can explore the “why” behind how our customers work. They possess strong design skills, take an empathetic approach to expectations and advice on usability. They are in relentless pursuit of ensuring we deliver value for customers. 

The UI/UX developer will have the opportunity to grow into a UI/UX Architect. Gerent pays for all the examination vouchers for any Salesforce certifications and ensures you have the time to prepare and pass the certification exams.

• Design, develop, deploy, troubleshoot, and debug front end and back end services and web solutions

• Engage in the full development life cycle, including coding, design, testing and production releases.
• Complete thorough unit and functional testing of the code to guarantee high quality bug free code.
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team which will include visual designers, design engineers, technical partners and project managers, to develop for user centered requirements specifically as they pertain to needs of the project.
• Design and develop beautiful and intuitive and easy to navigate User Interfaces in HTML, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript, SalesForce Visualforce and Apex. 
• Write clean, effective and unit testable code for simple or complex user tasks. Work with development teams in the US and offshore. 
• Work in an agile, rapid development and prototyping environment where effective communication is paramount. 
• Contribute to building a positive, can-do, high-performance culture.
• Adopt a standardized development lifecycle methodology for all projects.
• Superb writing, communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work well with customers, internal teams and othe SI’s to articulate issues and communicate effectively
• Ability to work independently, prioritize, and solve problems proactively
• Experience working in small collaborative teams
• Familiarity with technical issues and ability to work constructively with engineering teams
• Complete Vlocity Certification, Trailheads and Salesforce Certification on the following 
• Salesforce Javascript Developer 1 Certification – Within 60 days of joining
• Salesforce Platform App builder 
• OmniStudio Consultant
• OmniStudio Developer
